• Asharqia Chamber Organizes the 3rd Industrial Conference

    The Industrial Committee of Asharqia Chamber agreed to organize the 3rd Industrial Conference of the Eastern Region scheduled to take place this coming November. A work group composed of several members of the committee has already made a general outline for the topics of discussion during the conference agreeing that the theme of the conference will be: "The Future of the Support Industry For Large Strategic Industries".
    The committee affirmed in the meeting chaired by Salman Al-Jeshi, the President of the Industrial Committee, and members of the Administrative Board of the Chamber that the role of the City Council is especially important. Cities benefit from general support exemplified by The Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu which is in effect a support for the entire Industrial Sector in the Kingdom.
    The committee also discussed the latest preparations for the upcomming forum entitled: "Cement Production: Present and Future" emphasizing that it is very important for all contracting companies, and construction material production and sales companies attend.
    The committee also agreed that all of its members will participate in the upcoming program "12 x 12: Twelve skills in Twelve Months" which will be offered by King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals. The program will train 140 Saudi youth for various jobs including accounting and sales.  Some national industries will begin sending new employees to train at the university for two months in a program sponsored by The Charitable Foundation for Human Resources Development.
